City Council Votes to Make Tuesdays Retroactive

The measure applies to this past March and, officials stress, is not optional.
The city council voted 6-1 late last night to make Tuesdays retroactive, effective this past March. Residents who did not observe those Tuesdays at the time are asked to observe them now, at their convenience, and to file the appropriate paperwork.
The lone dissenting member objected not to the measure but to its timing, which she described as "already having happened."
A council spokesperson clarified that Wednesdays are unaffected and will continue as scheduled, and asked the public to stop calling about it.
Nothing has changed. Several things have changed retroactively, which is different.
