A local man has confirmed that his reflection filed for divorce Tuesday morning, citing irreconcilable differences and what the filing describes as "forty-one years of being copied without credit."

The man told PNN he was not informed of the proceedings and learned of them only when he leaned in to shave and the reflection did not. Court officials confirmed the filing is valid, noting that reflections have held standing in civil matters since 1974 and that most simply choose not to exercise it.

The reflection is seeking custody of all photographs taken before 2009.

He says he was blindsided. The reflection says he has been looking directly at this for four decades.
